My Top Favorites: Baby Registry Must Haves

by | Apr 11, 2019

It’s baby season! Either you have been invited to a baby shower or maybe you yourself are expecting and planning one out. Making a baby registry or shopping for someone can be so confusing. Is this the right brand, should I get multiple, is this the right size, am I missing something that I should get? I want to tell you about my favorite baby products that you may not think to register for, to help make it a little less confusing.

Amber necklace

This miracle-working necklace has natural alternative medicine for teething pain, drooling, produces a calming effect and reduces fussiness when a baby is teething. It contains natural succinic acid, which has anti-inflammatory, immune system boosting properties. The necklace gets activated when the stones touch your babies warm skin. I would compare it to essential oils. The acid in the necklace soaks into the skin like how oils would.

I was really skeptical about the necklace but I thought what do I have to lose? It took a day or two for me to notice a difference. But it worked! I started off putting it on my kid’s wrists to make sure my kids didn’t react badly to it. Once I felt comfortable that my kids could handle having a necklace I switched over. I recommend getting the lighter colored stones. The lighter the stone the “purer” it is. It worked so well for both of my kids, I tell all my mommy friends to register for one.

This is Ella at 11 months old taking her 1-year birthday photos. Here you can see the Amber Necklace on her wrist.

This is Maddox at a year and a half. He was living his best life at the Texas State Fair. He didn’t have a care in the world that he was teething. The Amber Necklace around his neck worked miracles with my kids.

NoseFrida

This is a nasal aspirator that uses parents’ own suction to safely and effectively clear stuffy noses. There are disposable filters that are proven to prevent mucus or bacterial germs to the snot sucker when clearing stuffy noses. But what makes this so different is it creates a seal with the outside of the baby’s nostril for seamless gentle snot-sucking!

It looks gross and sketchy but if there is anything I can do to make this already uncomfortable thing less uncomfortable I want to do it. It’s torture watching your baby yell bloody murder when you’re sucking out boogers. The NoseFrida really makes a difference.

It looks gross and sketchy but I think it’s worth investing in to help your baby feel more comfortable.

Table Chair

I love LOVE this product. It’s a chair that clips on to a table. We use it when we go out to eat that way we don’t have to worry about if the restaurant’s high chairs are clean. I wrote about this product a few weeks ago. You can go to that specific blog  Millennial Parenting Hacks to read more about it. I love this product so much it deserves a second shout out!

He was so hypnotized by the food at Magnolia Table. Y’all it was that GOOD! PEEP, at the table chair!

“On the Night You Were Born”

This book makes whoever you are reading to feel special. It celebrates how special YOU are to the world, that there is only one you. Nancy Tillman is the author of this amazing children’s book!

I was given this book when I was pregnant with Ella. I didn’t read it till months after I had Ella. We were in the middle of moving so all of her books were packed away. Once I read it I started crying. It painted such a beautiful picture of how I felt when Ella was born. I knew that I wanted to read it to my next baby on the night they were born. Fast forward to the crazy night I had Maddox, I forgot to read it to him. We ended up waiting until his first night at home to read it to him. It was such a special moment, I will never forget it.

The sweetest book you will ever read!

Yes, you should put diapers, rash cream, and clothes but those are things that you will get even if you don’t put them on your registry. These are my go-to products that most people don’t think about. I hope this helps so you know what to register for or pick the perfect gift for the mom-to-be!
