LIFE UPDATE: I’M BACK!

by | Sep 19, 2019

Hello, hi, I’M BACK! It feels so good to be back! It’s been a busy, fun, long four months of not blogging. A lot has happened and I can’t wait to catch you up on life and a change I’m bringing to the blog.

The first big event during the break was our best friends moving back to Dallas! It felt surreal watching our best friends drive up knowing that we weren’t going to see them drive away. They are here to stay!

The whole gang is back together and it feels so good!

Soon after that, one of my clients had their baby! This was a special birth because these clients are good friends of mine. They had a beautiful, healthy baby boy. I was so honored to be there for this milestone in their life.

My daughter Ella turned four during the break! We threw her a birthday party at a place that has tons of bounce houses. She had the best time playing with her friends and having her Godparents/our best friends. This is such a fun age to celebrate a birthday. She had a preference for the theme, the location, and the guests. It definitely makes it more fun knowing that I can fulfill her wishes and make her birthday all the more special.

My sweet little mermaid is 4 years old! What is life!?

Just a few days after Ella’s birthday was the first day of Youth for the Nations(YFN)! We had four weeks of amazing speakers, great worship, creative miracles, people set free from depression, and so much more! I can’t wait to share all the stories of freedom and breakthrough, the behind-the-scenes stuff, and our experience as Directors. What a whirlwind those four weeks were. I wouldn’t change it for anything!

This summer was unreal! I still can’t believe I get to do this!

There is no one else I would do this with!

After everything finally calmed down from YFN, my other clients had their baby! Mom and baby boy are happy and healthy. Mom and Dad worked so well together. Overall it was such a beautiful labor and birth experience. They were amazing!

During the break, I’ve been dreaming about where I could take the blog. From here on out, I will be posting blogs bi-weekly. This allows me to put more time into the blog. I would love to start doing videos, podcast and other creative things with the blog post.

This will also give me more time to give attention to YFN. This will be our first full year as Directors. We have a conference coming up in November and a few events within YFN. I want to be present for our staff and involved in the day-to-day operations. Doing it this way gives me more flexibility to do both the blog and YFN. I will get the best of both worlds without so much pressure!

So that has been my life for the past few months. A lot has happened and I definitely plan on going into detail with some of that stuff later. I want to hear what you want to see on the blog! Comment below topics, or fun creative ideas. I’m really excited to be blogging again and doing life with y’all! HERE WE GO!
